Hi I'm Georgia, I'm currently studying Psychology at University with the hope in the future to help people with mental health issues. From suffering with mental health issues in the past and loosing family members to mental health I feel it's important to help people suffering from these illnesses and to make a stand against the stigma. I hope anyone going through mental health problems uses this group to help themselves or others and comes forward to talk to us because we want to help.

I’m a complete Harry Potter nerd, I love music and avid gamer.  I have a lot of experience with mental illness through members of my family and have been advocating for the end of stigma against mental illness for a long time. My name is Rabia, and I have studied bachelor in applied psychology and MSc in psychology at the University of Chester. I have worked at Chester Sexual Abuse Support Service (CSASS), as a volunteer. It has given me a lot of experience communicating with people who have been suffering or have someone who has had a tough time in their life. It has also helped me to work on my listening skills and be there for the client.
I have always been interested in seeing why people act and think the way they do, and how we interact with each other. Additionally, how motivation, stress, and learning affect our workplace. That was something that motivated me to study psychology in the first place.  I love to help people and I think that I can be there for you too.

Hi, I’m Beth and I am a 3rd year Psychology student in East Yorkshire. Being someone with a past of depression and anxiety,
I understand how difficult it can be to deal with mental health, especially with nobody to talk to. The importance of mental health
often does not get the recognition it deserves, and I believe that giving people a place to come to is a step in the right direction.
This has influenced by decision to become a clinical psychologist in the future. I am a caring, friendly person and a great listener,
eager to make you feel welcome and feel not so alone.

Hi, I'm Ben.

I have, and still do, suffer with anxiety and panic attacks, depression and OCD. I've experienced what it's like to deal with a mental health problem and I've been lucky enough to have a supportive family and friendship group to help me through it. I was also fortunate enough to get acces to mental health services on the NHS. I know that many people don't have these at their disposal for one reason or another and I'd like to do my best to help anyone I can.

Hi my name is Elisha, I am 19 years old studying Criminal Psychology at the University of Derby. For future job roles I wish to work with criminals and help rehabilitate them back into society, as well as giving victims of crime the support and help they need. I believe that both sides of the story can have trouble with mental health, and working with this volunteer company can help guide me with correct supporting mechanisms used for future job roles. I myself have struggled with Anxiety disorder and Depression, but I had and still have a great support network that gets me through the struggles of life. Now I feel like its time to share the advice and support to others that need it. I am a bubbly and chatty person who is always available to listen to any problems, and give the best advice possible.
